All Rowers, excluding the Row Sport
Connect the rower via Bluetooth to another mobile device. If the issue persists, it is likely an issue with the resistance controller.
Make sure the battery is in good standing. The battery is a CR2032.
If this is a new rower or the first time being used, make sure that you have removed the white tag from the back of the resistance controller.
If the battery is good and the white tag has been removed and the issue persists please try the steps below to re-pair the resistance controller via Bluetooth to the rower.
Please note: if you have received a replacement resistance controller from Echelon, you will need to pair the new controller with the below steps:
If you are still having issues with the resistance on the rower please contact Customer Service for further support.
Row Sport
- Take off the left side shroud.
- Check if the slider is still attached where the Bluetooth module is (see images below for reference)
- If it is no longer attached, the app is receiving the resistance from the equipment when you row.
- The slider will need to be reattached
